Legal sports betting has arrived across New Jersey racetracks and casinos.
The nation’s initial bets were produced in 10:33 a.m. June 14, 2018, in a ceremony held in Monmouth Park’s William Hill Race & Sports Bar.
An hour after, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City started taking bets. The NJ sports gambling market was off and running.
DraftKings became the first business to offer legal online sports betting in New Jersey on Aug. 6. In short order, more sportsbook programs entered the industry before NFL season.
And the market continues to grow.
