Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has recently signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 2023.
Even the 18-year-old England a product of United’s academy, made his first Premier League beginning against Cardiff in May.
The deal has the choice to be extended by a year.
“Having grown up to a Manchester United fan, playing with the first team is a real dream come true,” said Greenwood.
“I understand that, once I play for this clubI represent the whole academy and I want to settle the faith that my coaches have revealed in me with my own performances on the pitch.
“I am learning all the time in the supervisor and his coaching team and I understand that this is the best golf club to help me reach my potential”
Greenwood is among 12 academy products to include in the matchday squads of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this year.
He even signed his first professional contract at United.
“Mason has improved through our exceptional academy and we are delighted with the progress he has made,” said Solskjaer.
“At this young age, he has great pace and intelligence and he’s such a pure finisher.
“Ever since he came into the first team, he’s impressed everybody with his driveway and mindset. He has all the attributes to be a top player.
“Mason is learning each day in training and, together with his work ethic, there isn’t any doubt that he has an excellent future ahead of him”
